SwimmingI am experienced and highly qualified Pilates therapist with qualifications in Remedial Pilates, Ante & Post Natal Pilates, Pilates for the Older Adult, Exercise for the Older Adult, Advanced Stretching Techniques, Postural Stability, GP Referral and Cardiac Rehabilitation as well as qualifications in the Health and Fitness industry..

My practice is built on the personal recommendation of clients who are all ages and require help for a variety of reasons brought about by:.

  • Habitual poor posture

  • Balance ssues

  • Post surgery rehabilitation

  • Muscle injury rehabilitation

  • Lack of mobility

  • Age related muscle degeneration

  • Skeletal degeneration

  • Disease conditions

  • Lifestyle behaviours

  • Osteoporosis

These issues often result in restricted movement and functionality, pain and poor posture and can lead to a deterioration in the quality of life whether in a particular aspect, activity, or overall.

I work closely with clients on a 1:1 basis to understand their concerns and goals, and tailor treatments for remedial or preventative work depending on specific needs. Clients are taught to strengthen the deep postural back and abdominal muscles in order to understand how to take control of and correct their symptoms.

In addition, I offer small group classes following initial 1:1 assessment for those clients who have an understanding of the Pilates principles but who still have a clinical need.
